JURASSIC PARK Trilogy Will Return To Netflix Tomorrow
Is Jurassic Park on Netflix?
The answer is yes! The original Jurassic Park trilogy returns to Netflix tomorrow (October 1st 2020). For those of you keeping score at home, Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and Jurassic Park III – previously left Netflix in September.
Unfortunately, there’s no word on if Netflix plans to add Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom to their streaming content here in the U.S.
The new movies are cool but it’s the original flick is what keeps my kids happy. So it keeps me happy. And even though we own it on every format – even at one point LaserDisc – they only want to watch what’s on Netflix. And now Disney+.
Steven Spielberg’s original blockbuster followed Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum to a theme park populated by dinosaurs. The park’s mastermind, Richard Attenborough assures everyone that the facility is safe. But they find out otherwise when various ferocious predators break free and go on the hunt.
Then the fun follow-up found Attenborough summoning Goldblum to a second island, where other dinosaurs are in hiding. The dinosaurs on the second island are alive and well and even breeding; and Attenborough wants Goldblum to observe and document the dinos before financiers can get to them.
Then there’s Jurassic Park III. But who gives a shit about that one.
The first film sports a 91% on Rotten Tomatoes with this Critics Consensus: Jurassic Park is a spectacle of special effects and life-like animatronics, with some of Spielberg’s best sequences of sustained awe and sheer terror since Jaws.
Will you check out the Jurassic Park trilogy on Netflix next month?
