LOVE AND MONSTERS Hits 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD 1/5

Paramount will release Love and Monsters on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on January 5th. You can check out the killer cover art and special features below.

Dylan O’Brien stars in the post-apocalyptic coming-of-age monster movie. Michael Rooker joins him along with Jessica Henwick, Dan Ewing, and Ariana Greenblatt.

Michael Matthews (Five Fingers for Marseilles) directs. Shawn Levy (Stranger Things) produced the monster movie with Dan Cohen. Marco Beltrami (Scream, World War Z, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark) and Marcus Trumpp scored.

Written by Brian Duffield (The Babysitter) and Matthew Robinson, it begins seven years after the Monsterpocalypse. After reconnecting with his high school girlfriend Aimee (Henwick), Joel Dawson (O’Brien), begins to fall for her again.

The film sports a 91% over on Rotten Tomatoes with a Critics Consensus that reads: Led by a charming star turn from Dylan O’Brien, Love and Monsters peers into the apocalypse and finds an action-adventure with surprising emotional depth.

The film was originally set to hit back in March but was moved to April. Then it was pushed to February 2021. In August 2020, Paramount announced that due to COVID-19 pandemic it would be hit video on demand on October 16th. The film also played in 387 theaters for the weekend. In its debut weekend, Love and Monsters was the number one most rented film on FandangoNow and Apple TV.

Love and Monsters (originally titled Monster Problems) is now available on VOD.
