Recently, we passed along your first look at the new movie. Watch the fresh featurette “Faith & Fear: The Conjuring Universe Behind The Scenes” right HERE.
The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2 director James Wan produces the new sequel. The Curse of La Llorona filmmaker Michael Chaves directs.
Chaves says: “I really wanted The Conjuring 3 to get away from the whole haunted house set-up of the first two Conjuring films. It should be more on a whole different level, something that we’ve never explored before in The Conjuring world.”
Here’s the film’s official synopsis:
“A chilling story of terror, murder and unknown evil that shocked even experienced real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. One of the most sensational cases from their files, it starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before, to mark the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense.”
The new nightmare hits theaters and HBO Max on June 4, 2021.
