On August 28th Michael Berryman gets back to hack and slash duties when Below Zero hits DVD via Screen Media Films. To get you geared up for the chilling bloodbath we have a brand spanking new trailer for your enjoyment!

The film, directed by Justin Thomas Ostensen, stars Edward Furlong (T2, Night of the Demons, The Crow: Wicked Prayer) and genre vet Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes, The Lords of Salem) along with Kristin Booth (The Kennedys). It is said to be based upon true events!!!! Hang on; let me use a few more exclamation point for dramatic effect … based upon true events!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe some caps, too? BASED UPON TRUE EVENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Synopsis
‘Jack the Hack’, a less than average but once successful screenwriter, faces writer’s block. Desperate to meet a career-saving deadline and lock out the distractions of his troubled life, Jack arranges to be left alone and locked inside a meat cooler with only vegetarian meals and his imagination to inspire him. As the temperature drops, the lines between reality and fiction blur, and Jack’s script comes dangerously to life. Will he make the most important deadline of his career? Or is Jack ‘just a hack’?
