Here at Dread Central we love giant insect on the loose flicks. That’s why when the upcoming flick Stung hit our radar today, we became instantly excited. If you’re a fan of this sort of mayhem, we’re pretty sure you’ll be happy, too!

German director and special effects maven Benni Diez is at the helm of Stung, which is coming to us from Rat Pack Filmproduktion and XYZ Films.

Stung is described as a creature feature in the old style – a slyly tongue-in-cheek, action-driven horror comedy that calls back to the days before creature features became the sole provenance of sub-Corman knock-em-out-cheap hack jobs. Check out a few stills and a visual effects test video below.
