SKYLINES Lands Killer New Character Posters

Vertical Entertainment unleashes writer-director Liam O’Donnell’s Skylines in theaters and also Apple TV on December 18th. Then Lionsgate will release it on Blu-ray and DVD on January 12th. And today we have a killer new series of posters.

The flick begins when a virus threatens to turn earth-dwelling friendly alien hybrids against humans. A team of soldiers takes on a mission to the alien’s world in order to save what’s left of humanity. It sports an R-rating for violence and language.

Lindsey Morgan stars with Jonathan Howard and Rhona Mitra. James Cosmo also joins them along with Alexander Siddig, Daniel Bernhardt, and Cha-Lee Yoon.

Meanwhile, the original Skyline followed Jarrod (Eric Balfour) and Elaine (Scottie Thompson) who take a trip to Southern California to visit his friend, Terry (Donald Faison), for a fun getaway, but it turns into a weekend of terror. During the night a cluster of strange, mesmerizing lights signals the arrival of an alien invasion. As thousands of terrified people are pulled into the maws of giant alien ships, Jarrod and his companions must use every skill they have to survive global genocide.

The original film sports a 16% approval rating over on Rotten Tomatoes. The Critics Consensus reads: A middling sci-fi entry, Skyline offers proof that solid special effects alone cannot overcome a flat storyline filled with uninspired dialogue.

Once again, Vertical Entertainment will release Skylines on Digital this Friday. Lionsgate will then unleash the film on Blu-ray and DVD on January 12th.
