Straight out of Portugal, Dread Central is thrilled to exclusively share the chilling horror short, A Pandemic Christmas Story! Give it a spin and read more about the film below.

Synopsis:
Set in Oporto (Portugal), A Pandemic Christmas Story follows a Skype call between a father and a son, where dad tells the story of the demons that come from the mountains to the city on Christmas night, as the streets are empty. But now, in the pandemic year of 2020, these demons are braver.

The short was produced by the newly-founded agency A Raposa Branca (The White Fox) and helmed by guest director José Pedro Lopes (2017’s The Forest of Lost Souls distributed in the US by Wild Eye Releasing).

A Pandemic Christmas Story is being released in Portugal in the SVOD Vodafone Indieworld.
