IFC has just added another notch to its ever growing belt full of acclaimed horror movies as they’ve just announced that IFC Midnight has acquired all U.S. rights to director Peter Strickland’s psychological horror film Berberian Sound Studio.

The film starring Toby Jones and Tonia Sotiropoulou is gearing up for its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Synopsis:
Set in 1976: Gilderoy is hired to orchestrate the sound mix for the latest film by Italian horror maestro Santini. As time and realities shift, Gilderoy is lost in a spiral of sonic and personal mayhem and has to confront his own demons in order to stay afloat.
