Following a partnership on paranormal thriller No Tell Motel, which will be released on DVD and VOD on October 9th, Enderby Entertainment, Viva Pictures, and Uncork’d Entertainment have agreed to produce more upcoming horror films together, and we have all the details.
From the Press Release:
Independent film, television, and digital media company Enderby Entertainment has inked a deal with Viva Pictures and Uncork’d Entertainment to produce four Tony-Seven Films projects in conjunction with a current horror series to include 15 films for 2013.
Following a successful partnership on the independent paranormal thriller No Tell Motel, Viva Pictures and Uncork’d Entertainment have made a firm commitment with Enderby Entertainment co-partners Rick Dugdale (About Cherry) and Daniel Petrie, Jr. (Beverly Hills Cop), to produce more films. In the agreement it is stated that Viva Pictures and Uncork’d Entertainment will present the Tony-Seven Films productions to the US and Canada, and Enderby Entertainment will orchestrate financing through their genre fund, Farm Team Investment Fund.
“The immediate success of No Tell Motel in VOD carriage markets and in retail, with placement in coveted real estate like Redbox, makes us delighted to have Enderby and Tony-Seven as proven partners for this new program,” said Victor Elizalde, president of Viva Pictures.
“When I saw No Tell Motel, it was apparent Enderby was committed to making quality movies with interesting stories and solid production values, and I wanted to partner with them,” stated Keith Leopard, president of Uncork’d Entertainment.

The first film to be produced from the deal will be Blood Shed, written and created by 2010 Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting Competition Quarterfinalist and 2011 UCLA Screenwriting Contest Finalist Patrick Hasson, who will co-direct along with Juan Carlos Saizarbortia. The script is loosely based on the true events of a homeless loner who moves into a self-storage facility inhabited by a community of bizarre squatters until they are locked in for the night with a deranged female who hunts them down in search of her lost child. The film will shoot in the fall of 2012.
In development for the second slot under the deal is an as-yet untitled thriller written by Todd Ireland based on a true story set in the frozen mountains of Siberia.
In addition to the horror series, Enderby Entertainment’s genre division, Tony-Seven Films, will be releasing other films in 2012 including Vile on September 11th, The Speak on October 9th, and A Haunting at Silver Falls (date TBA).
