Amazon Pays $200M For New Chris Pratt Movie THE TOMORROW WAR
The sci-fi action film The Tomorrow War with Chris Pratt was all set to hit theaters on July 23rd. But then. Boom. COID. And today we hear that Paramount may just go ahead and sell the film to Amazon Studios for – Jesus Christ – $200M!

For those that might not know, the flick tells the tale of a futuristic society that drafts soldiers from the past to fight a war against some evil alien invaders.
Here’s the official synopsis: The fate of a futuristic war rests upon one man’s abilities to confront the ghosts of his past. Humanity is losing to an alien invasion, so to fight back, scientists develop a way to draft soldiers from the past to fight.

Zach Dean and Bill Dubuque penned the script. David S. Goyer produces along with David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Adam Kolbrenner, and Jules Daly.
Pratt stars along with Yvonne Strahovski, Betty Gilpin, Keith Powers, Sam Richardson, and J.K. Simmons. Chris McKay (The LEGO Batman Movie) directs.
