Blumhouse’s INTO THE DARK Returns to Hulu This Valentine’s Day

Hulu confirms a new installment of the Blumhouse series, Into the Dark: Tentacles will debut next month for Valentine’s Day. Specifically, it hits on February 12th.

It tells the tale of a couple Tara and Sam (Dana Drori and Casey Deidrick) who fall head over heels into a new romance and entwine their lives — until their intimacy transforms into something terrifying. The film is said to take inspiration from ‘the rushes of early intimacy and uncertain power dynamics at play, and the dangers of losing yourself,’ and it will also present ‘a twist on gender roles in modern horror.’

Sounds good to us!

Blumhouse had to halt their monthly Hulu series due to social distancing protocols last year. The last installment, The Good Occupant premiered way back in July.

It centered on a man trapped in a mysterious psychiatric ward with no memory. He comes to believe that he’s the President of the United States. And the subject of a diabolical political conspiracy. As the asylum’s soul-crushing forces bear down on him, he fights to preserve his sanity and escape so that he can return to power.

Into The Dark is a monthly horror event series. It hails from prolific, award-winning producer, Jason Blum’s independent TV studio. Each feature-length installment is inspired by a holiday. It features Blumhouse’s signature genre/thriller spin.

Into the Dark: Tentacles will hit Hulu on February 12th.
