He tells Forbes: “I just finished a color correction for a 4K version. It looks gorgeous. I can’t wait for that to come out to celebrate the anniversary.“
No word on when it will hit. But we can assume it will be sometime this year. Keep checking back with us and we’ll pass along updates as we hear them. Stay tuned!

He continues: “It feels like it was a lifetime ago, but it doesn’t feel like it was that many years ago if that makes sense. I felt like I’ve had three or four lives in this life, but 25 does sound like a lot of years. It was a different life for me back then, for sure. I was starting out, the independent film scene was exploding, and From Dusk till Dawn was an independently done film. It was really low budget.“
The film features George Clooney and Tarantino as Seth Gecko and Richard Gecko. On the run from a bank robbery that left several police officers dead, they hightail it to the Mexican border. Kidnapping preacher Jacob Fuller (Harvey Keitel) and his kids along the way. The group sneak across the border in the family’s RV and hole up in a topless bar. Unfortunately, the bar also happens to be home base for a gang of vampires, and the brothers and their hostages have to fight their way out.
The surprise vampire throwdown sports a 62% approval rating over on Rotten Tomatoes. The Critics Consensus reads: A pulpy crime drama/vampire film hybrid, From Dusk Till Dawn is an uneven but often deliriously enjoyable B-movie.
