Apple’s New Serial Killer Series IN WITH THE DEVIL Snags Taron Egerton

Apple’s new serial killer series In With the Devil has snagged Taron Egerton (The Kingsman). The show is based on James Keene and Hillel Levin’s book In With The Devil: A Fallen Hero, A Serial Killer, and A Dangerous Bargain for Redemption.

It tells the tale of how on Keene was offered early release from prison. If he could get a suspected serial killer to confess. The show will examine the intimate relationship between these two prisoners. Also, the lengths people will go to in order to seek redemption, and whether true absolution is ever really possible.”

Paul Walter Hauser (Clint Eastwood’s Richard Jewell) may play the suspected serial killer. Not sure yet. But we do know that Egerton will play Keene. We also know that Michaël Roskam (Bullhead) will direct the six-episode limited series. Dennis Lehane (Mystic River, Shutter Island) penned the screenplay.

Egerton, Roskam, Lehane, and Keene exec produce with Alexandra Milchan, Scott Lambert, Richard Plepler, Kary Antholis, Bradley Thomas, Dan Friedkin, and Ryan Friedkin. Apple Studios will produce the series which will shoot in New Orleans.
