New WILLOW Series Wants SERVANT Star Tony Revolori
Disney+ and LucasFilm’s Willow sequel series with Warwick Davis is in the works. And today we hear Servant star Tony Revolori (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far from Home, The Grand Budapest Hotel) is in negotiations for a lead role.
No word on who the filmmakers want Revolori to play. But that said, we will make sure to pass along updates as we hear them. Stay tuned! This comes on the heels of director Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians, G.I. Joe: Retaliation) leaving the series.
We already knew the series takes place years after the original film and introduces new characters to the enchanted realm of fairy queens and two-headed monsters, all while welcoming back its namesake hero, Willow Ufgood (Warwick Davis).

The Willow series revolves around a group on a mission to save a kidnapped prince. Cailee Spaeny (The Craft: Legacy), Ellie Bamber (Nocturnal Animals), and also Erin Kellyman (Solo: A Star Wars Story) are the three female leads.
Jonathan Kasdan and Wendy Mericle are showrunners. Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Jonathan Kasdan, Wendy Mericle, and Ron Howard are executive producers. Roopesh Parekh and Hannah Friedman are co-executive producers.
The Disney+ Willow series begins shooting next year. It returns to “the dramatic and enchanted” landscapes of Wales, where much of the original was also shot. Jonathan Kasdan wrote the pilot which will hit Disney+ sometime in 2022.
