Trailer for Japanese Kaiju Horror SHIN ULTRAMAN Just Hit the Internet–And It’s Crazy!
It’s been over a year since we reported that Toho and the team behind 2016’s Shin Godzilla would be giving Ultraman the same treatment. The kaiju-busting alien superhero from the 1960s was being revamped for the 21st Century, and Shin Ultraman was eyeing a 2021 release date with Shinji Higuchi directing.

Today, we finally have a trailer for Shin Ultraman–and it’s crazy! Give it a spin and read more about the movie below.
Higuchi directs Shin Ultraman from a screenplay penned by Hideaki Anno; the film stars Masami Nagasawa, Takumi Saitoh, and Hidetoshi Nishijima. Shin Ultraman is still slated to hit Japan in 2021; we’ll keep you updated on US release dates and platforms as details emerge, so stay tuned and check back often!

Ultraman is a fictional superhero and is the first tokusatsu hero launched by the Ultra Series and by extension, Tsuburaya Productions. His appearance in the entertainment world helped spawn the Kyodai Hero genre with countless shows such as Godman and Iron King. (Source)
