IN SEARCH OF DARKNESS: PART II – OFFICIAL TRAILER – FLASH SALE FEB 2021 from CreatorVC on Vimeo.

Writer/director David Weiner’s In Search of Darkness: Part II sports over four hours of brand-new interviews with horror legends like Robert Englund, Nancy Allen, Linnea Quigley, and Tom Savini.

In Search of Darkness: Part II dives deeper into the practical-effects decade of 80s horror movies and returns to delve into more fan-favorite titles and eclectic entries of ’80s horror, year-by-year, expanding the scope to cover more international releases and to spotlight horror-career retrospectives.

From In Search of Darkness: Part II writer/director David Weiner:

“The decade of ‘80s horror provided a treasure trove of genre films that horror fans hold close to their hearts. The first In Search of Darkness only scratched the surface of what ‘80s horror had to offer, and in Part II we get to cast a wider net and also dig deeper: Brand-new interviews; new takes from the original In Search of Darkness cast; more international horror titles; examinations of controversial films and genre movements; career-retrospective interviews with such horror legends as Robert Englund, Tom Savini, Linnea Quigley and Nancy Allen; and perhaps some titles that even the most die-hard horror fans have never heard of or seen before. We get to share a whole new world of shock and gore in this new love letter to ‘80s horror, made with love by the fans for the fans.”

From CREATORVC CEO and executive producer Robin Block:

“We are pioneering the evolution of fandom and delivering a unique and immersive experience. Our mission is to empower fans and help them celebrate the pop culture that has impacted their lives. Our online community brings superfans together, creating a comforting and safe place to meet up with their peers in a time when the world’s gone crazy. We are taking people back to their childhood VHS experiences and together experiencing these loved movies in brand new ways.

Our exclusive online community extends the documentary experience by providing hosted group activities including Watch Parties and Live Special Guest Q&A’s with icons of ’80’s horror and hosted discussions on your favourite movies. We have built a safe place for superfans to come together, where everyone is welcome, and love for the genre is paramount.”
