Remembering the Best Films of George A. Romero on His Birthday

Today would have been George A. Romero’s 81st birthday; the horror icon passed away on July 16th, 2017 at the age of 77, and genre fans are still feeling the sting. We simply couldn’t let the day go by without acknowledging Romero’s innumerable accomplishments and wishing him a Happy Birthday–wherever he is.

While celebrated as The Godfather of the zombie subgenre for his Night of the Living Dead franchise, some of Romero’s best horror films have nothing to the undead.
