3rd Installment of Our Video Series Celebrating WOMEN IN HORROR MONTH Highlights Natasha Kermani
As our Women in Horror series continues, we’re joined by the very rad, Chelsea Stardust! You for sure know her work as the director who brought us All That We Destroy and Satanic Panic. She’s also one of the nicest people I’ve met in LA, always friendly and incredibly supportive of the women around her.
Chelsea’s here to tell you about another very talented lady: Director, Natasha Kermani!
Natasha is an Iranian-American writer and director in LA/NY, and the co-founder of Illium Pictures. No stranger to the Dread family, Natasha’s debut film, Imitation Girl was one of the first titles released under the DREAD Presents label. Her follow up Lucky, was also produced by Dread.
One of the perks of my job is reading scripts for upcoming projects and I was stoked to read the script for Lucky, written by the lovely Brea Grant, early on in the process. You’ll have your own chance to see what we love about Natasha when Lucky premieres on Shudder beginning March 4th. I’ve always respected Natasha’s work and know she will keep bringing us trippy and interesting stories, but I’ll let Chelsea take it from here!
