Just when we thought things were finally rock solid for Lionsgate Entertainment’s I, Frankenstein, the release date has been bumped again. What could possibly be the reason for this? IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT THE REASON IS!

According to Deadline, Lionsgate is pushing back the release of I, Frankenstein to September 13, 2013, to make room for Summit‘s Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson-starrer Snitch, which has now been set for I, Frankenstein‘s original date of February 22, 2013.

Aaron Eckhart, Yvonne Strahovski, Bill Nighy and Socratis Otto star in the upcoming film.

I, Frankenstein, written and directed by Stuart Beattie, is based on a graphic novel by Kevin Grevioux, co-creator of the Underworld franchise. Lionsgate will distribute the film in the United States, Lakeshore will handle international sales, and E1/Hopscotch will distribute in Australia.
