Rock and Shock 2012 Announces Contests that Focus on the Fans

Rock and Shock 2012 is less than a month away, and organizers are hard at work to make the festival the rockingest and shockingest ever. We’ve just gotten word on some contests that can win you admission tickets and passes to see Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson. Dig it!

Also, it’s been announced that Derek Mears (Friday the 13th (2009)) and Sean Whalen (The People Under the Stairs) have been added to the celebrity guests list.

MassConcerts and Rock and Shock are counting down to this year’s convention, and we’ve decided it was time to get all you fans front and center as YOU become a part of Rock and Shock. Dig these contests launched just for the fans to enjoy.

First is a costume contest. Yes, it’s a tradition for the young and old alike, and with Rock and Shock fast approaching, it’s time for you to start dreaming up your most imaginative and spook-tacular costumes to wear to this year’s convention. We wanted to include our youngest fans as well, so for families attending with children and just looking for some Halloween fun, we will provide the ideal backdrop for family Halloween photos. Dress them up in their most creative, cutest or even scariest costume for a chance to win some spooky toys or movie tickets! For the adults, why not strut your stuff in your scary, spooky or most terrifying costume for a chance to win a pair of tickets to see Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson on October 21 at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire.

How do you win? Well, none other than fan favorite Bill Moseley (Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects) will be walking around randomly choosing the best costume winner each day of Rock And Shock! There is no better way to win tickets than to get a photo with him! So make sure to come to the convention this year in your best costume. We will make it worth the effort.

If costumes aren’t your thing, don’t worry; we thought about that. We’ll be giving away free tickets to Rock and Shock every day leading up to the convention starting today on the Rock and Shock Facebook page. In addition to the Rock and Shock admission tickets (including some VIPs!) will be additional pairs of Rob Zombie/Marilyn Manson concert tickets.
