The recent remake centered on Dr. Louis Creed and his wife, Rachel, who relocate from Boston to rural Maine with their two young children. They soon discover a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near their new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his neighbor Jud Crandall, setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unspeakable evil with horrific consequences.
The film sports a 57% rating over on Rotten Tomatoes. The Critics Consensus reads: Pet Sematary takes its source material in a few different directions, but this remake feels like an exhuming almost as often as it does a revival.
