New Season of Jordan Peele’s TWILIGHT ZONE Has Been Scrapped
Jordan Peele’s The Twilight Zone won’t return on CBS All Access when it’s rebranded as Paramount+ next month. CBS All Access/Paramount+ wanted to continue the series. But Peele and also fellow executive producer Simon Kinberg were ready to walk away. The rebooted anthology ran for two seasons.
Paramount+ head of programming said: “Jordan Peele, Simon Kinberg, and the entire production team truly reimagined The Twilight Zone for the modern age. They upheld the classic series’ legacy of socially conscious storytelling and pushed today’s viewers to explore all new dimensions of thought-provoking and topical themes that we hope will resonate with audiences for years to come.”
