Join Great Horror Icons To Celebrate Diversity, Today at 6PM PST!

Today is the day! The panel we’ve been planning for the past few weeks is finally taking place. Join Maria Sten, Rachel True, Rae Dawn Chong and Selena Anduze on panel hosted by our own Anya Stanley. This will be a way for horror fans to celebrate diversity in cinema, its benefits and challenges, and how it shapes the stories we tell.

The panel will take place at 6PM PST, and you can catch it on our usual haunts:

Our Twitch channel

This panel, as you can see, will feature some of the most talented people in our industry. Rachel True, whom we all love as Rochelle in The Craft, Rae Dawn Chong (Commando, The Color Purple), Selena Anduza (WandaVision, The Haunting of Hill House, Swamp Thing) and Maria Sten (Swamp Thing, Channel Zero).

These amazing artists will provide us with first-hand insight into the effects and importance of diversity in cinema. We could not be prouder to host this event, and we sincerely hope to see you all there later today.

This is, of course, not the first time we celebrate diversity at Dread Central. We recently hosted the panel on what it means to be a Scream Queen. It featured a who’s who of horror women. You can check it out here:

Will you be joining our free, virtual diversity panel today at 6PM PST? Will you be there to celebrate diversity with us? Let us know in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram! You can also carry on the convo with me personally on Twitter @MarcosCodas.
