Kozak is a film student at Vancouver Film School whose instructors have included Gigi Saul Guerrero, Joel McCarthy, and Nicholas Humphries. She created her debut feature documentary, Vancouver Video Vixens, while her class was on break due to COVID-19.
Synopsis:
The interviewees are Gigi Saul Guerrero (Culture Shock) and her producer Raynor Shima of Luchagore Productions; Karen Lam (The Curse of Willow Song); Tristan Risk (American Mary); Lisa Ovies (Puppet Killer); Ariel Hansen of Bad Cookie Pictures (Ready to Burst); Bruna Arbex (This is a Period Piece); Heather Perluzzo (Hatch), Sharai Rewels (Ramshackle Blues); Nadine L’Esperance (No Pets Allowed); Kailey and Sam Spear (Alien: Ore); Julie Bruns (Influenced); Dre Boulet (Recipe); and producer David Aboussafy of Generativity Productions.
