New CASTLE FREAK Hits Blu-ray & DVD on March 16th

RLJE Films will release the recent remake of Stuart Gordon’s 1995 horror cult classic horror film Castle Freak on Blu-ray and DVD on March 16th. No special features are listed but you can check out the killer cover art below.

After she’s permanently blinded in a tragic car accident, Rebecca receives some bizarre news. Her long-lost-mother has recently passed away, leaving her their family’s ancestral castle. She travels to the estate with a group of friends. Rebecca hopes it will be an opportunity for her to reconnect with a past she never knew. And a mother who seemingly left her behind. Then mysterious happenings begin to occur and her friends begin to die. Now Rebecca must unravel her family’s mysterious history before she too falls prey to the Castle Freak.

Award-winning special effects artist Tate Steinsiek (Face-Off, Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich) makes his directorial debut. Fabio Frizzi (The Beyond, Kill Bill) composed the score. Original Castle Freak star Barbara Crampton produced.

Clair Catherine (The Preppie Connection) stars with Jake Horowitz (The Vast of Night), Chris Galust (Give Me Liberty), Kika Magalhaes (The Eyes of My Mother) Emily Sweet (Syn), Elisha Pratt (True Detective), and Omar Brunson (Shadow Fighter).
