New BLADE Movie May Introduce Daywalker’s Daughter, Fallon Grey
Marvel’s Blade reboot aka Blade, The Vampire Slayer with Mahershala Ali is in the works. And today we hear that Blade’s daughter might be a part of the new film.
The Disinsider claims Marvel’s casting a “thoughtful, serious” teenager “burdened by growing up in a complex world”. Also described as “a strong supporting role in the film,” fans are wondering if it’s really Fallon Grey.
Grey was set to lead the comic Blade the Hunter where she would’ve discovered she’s Blade’s daughter. But writer Tim Seeley (Death of Wolverine) realized a person of color should write the series as it focused on a black teenager.

Though many fans were hoping the reboot would be R-rated, Marvel’s Kevin Feige recently revealed Blade, The Vampire Slayer will be PG-13.
Feige said: “Other than Deadpool, which has already established itself as a certain genre and a certain rating, that we already said we would not mess with when we started working on Deadpool – which we have – other than that, we haven’t encountered a story or a storyline or a character’s journey that a PG-13, or the tone, or the ratings we’ve been using up to this point has prevented us.”
Marvel’s Wesley Snipes-less reboot has no director attached. But playwright and writer on HBO’s limited series Watchmen, Stacy Osei-Kuffour will pen the script.
