Is This the First REAL Image of Mechagodzilla in GODZILLA VS KONG?

I’ve got to admit, the Mechagodzilla design recently revealed on t-shirts being produced by Heredia Clothing (below) looked so clunky I wasn’t sure they were really… real! Still, some due diligence on our end confirmed that these designs are officially licensed through Warner Bros. and do indeed represent the beast as he will appear in Godzilla vs Kong.

But how much can we really infer from a graphic design? Certainly not as much as a photo or a screenshot–which is what we have now!

Imgur user methl0kAiju just shared something that looks like the real deal: A snippet of Mechagodzilla from Godzilla vs Kong that matches the graphic design on the Heredia tee. Have a look:

Synopsis:

Adam Wingard directs Godzilla Vs Kong from a script written by Eric Pearson and Max Borenstein. Terry Rossio, Michael Dougherty, and Zach Shields penned the story based on Godzilla by Toho and King Kong by Edgar Wallace and Merian C. Cooper.
