Director Confirms New ATTACK THE BLOCK Movie in the Works
Joe Cornish’s Attack The Block with John Boyega (Star Wars) and Jodie Whitaker (Doctor Who) is a new classic. Now Cornish confirms sequel talks are taking place.
Cornish tells EW “We’re working on it at the moment. John Boyega was round at my place a few weeks ago and we sat in the garden talking about story ideas until it was so dark we couldn’t see each other. So, yeah, we’re working on that.”

Cornish said in the past “We’ve got ideas. I met with John [Boyega] a couple of months ago to talk about it. We’ve always had ideas after the first one. But obviously we’ve both been busy doing different things.”
Attack the Block found inner-city kids turning a South London apartment complex into an extraterrestrial warzone in a battle against an of savage alien creatures.
Rated R for creature violence, drug content, and pervasive language, the film sports a 90% approval rating over on Rotten Tomatoes.
