Ti West’s New Movie Is ‘Outrageous’ Teases Jenna Ortega
Ti West (The House of the Devil, The Innkeepers, The Sacrament ) is one of our favorite filmmakers at Dread. And so we’re excited about his next horror thriller X. The cast includes Mia Goth, Kid Cudi, Brittany Snow, and Jenna Ortega.
And today Ortega teases the film is “outrageous”.
She tells Collider: “I got the tape for Ti West’s project. And it’s outrageous! So I was really curious to send in [an audition tape] on that one.”

Plot details are under wraps but West will write and direct and it will be about the making of an adult film. Production is set to start soon after West finishes working on Amazon’s series Them: Covenant with Alison Pill (AHS: Cult).
The new film is produced by Jacob Jaffke, Kevin Turen, Sam Levinson, and Ashley Levinson. Mescudi will exec produce. A24 and BRON Studios will co-finance.
Ti West’s The Innkeepers follows two hotel employees who investigate stories of hauntings and ghosts but awaken an unwanted presence. The film sports a 79% approval rating over on Rotten Tomatoes. The Critics Consensus reads: It doesn’t break any rules of the genre, but The Innkeepers serves as additional proof that Ti West is a young director that discriminating horror fans can trust.
