From the Press Release:
Travel Channel’s popular series “The Dead Files,” featuring retired NYPD Homicide Detective Steve DiSchiavi and medium Amy Allan, launches it first-ever web exclusive episode – the “Lost Episode.” Debuting today on TravelChannel.com, this special episode follows DiSchiavi and Allan as they look back on their very first investigation together several years ago and the never-before-seen shocking case that pre-dated their hit series “The Dead Files.” At a bed and breakfast in Denver, Colorado, the duo investigate claims of terrifying paranormal activity experienced by the distraught owner and his guests. DiSchiavi delves into the property’s history to uncover a gruesome unsolved murder. Meanwhile, Allan communicates with the tormented spirit of a teenage girl still traumatized by her own death.

Currently in its third season, new episodes of “The Dead Files” air Fridays at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Travel Channel. Each hour-long episode follows DiSchiavi and Allan as they travel to cities and towns throughout America to help solve the unexplained disturbances and phenomena in each location. The pair explore every case from their specific areas of expertise, keeping their methods and findings hidden from each other. They join together only at the end to compare notes and reveal the shocking results to the client in the compelling, undeniable, and often terrifying conclusion. This season features special “Dead Files Revisited” episodes in which DiSchiavi and Allan look back on previous investigations, revealing additional information from each experience and following up with the clients to see what’s happened since they left.
