Earlier this week, we shared some brand new pics of Art the Clown taken by Jeff Harris to promote the upcoming release of Terrifier 2. Today, we’ve got some production updates from the film’s writer/director Damien Leone!

“You might like to know I have already assembled a rough 1 hr and 30 minutes of Terrifier 2,” the filmmaker announced on Facebook. Based on what I have left to edit, I’m projecting the final film to clock in at around the 2 hour mark! I know that’s not typical of slasher films but then again this isn’t your typical slasher film.”

If that’s not enough to get you excited, Leone ends his update with a bold and exciting prediction:

“This is the Apocalypse Now of indie horror films.”

Synopsis:
After being resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown returns to Miles County where he must hunt down and destroy a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night.

Terrifier 2 is written and directed by Damien Leone; the film stars Felissa Rose, David Howard Thornton, Casey Hartnett, and Lauren LaVera.

While we wait for more updates on what’s clearly one of the most hotly-anticipated horror releases of 2021, revisit the trailer and synopsis for the original Terrifier below.
