New Shudder Original Series DEADHOUSE DARK Premieres Next Month
Next month, Shudder will release an anthology of six interconnected horror films Deadhouse Dark. It’s inspired by recent social, cultural, and online phenomena. The boxful of six stories all take place within the same world. A modern world driven by online connections, constant surveillance, insta-celebrity, and an ability to instantly gratify just about any need or desire, no matter how fleeting or dark.

Nicholas Hope stars with Barbara Bingham, Lauren Orrell, and Anni Finsterer. Naomi Sequeira joins with Gemma Bird Matheson, Eliza Nicholls, Akosia Sabet, Ryan Morgan, Jenny Wu, and also Adam Sollis. With April marking the halfway point to Halloween, Shudder will celebrate with “Halfway to Halloween Month”! Shudder’s biggest month of programming yet is loaded with original films and series. Plus an exclusive documentary, a library of cult classic favorites, and also the return of “Halfway to Halloween Hotline.”
Craig Engler, Shudder GM says: “Some do Christmas in July. But at Shudder we celebrate Halloween in April to mark the halfway point to the greatest holiday of the year. Halfway to Halloween Month is going to be the biggest month of programming in Shudder history. With new movies, series, a killer documentary, and more.”
Deadhouse Dark will be available to stream on April 29th.
