RELATED: THE EXORCIST Meets TRAINING DAY in THE SEVENTH DAY with Guy Pearce
Synopsis:
Renowned exorcist Father Peter (Guy Pearce) teams up with a rookie apprentice for his first day of training. As they plunge deeper into hell on earth, the lines between good and evil blur and their own demons emerge.
Justin P. Lange (The Dark) directs the film from his own original screenplay.
In addition to Pearce (Prometheus, Memento), the film stars Stephen Lang (Avatar, Don’t Breathe) and Keith David (They Live, Tales from the Hood 2).
Vadhir Derbez (How to Be a Latin Lover) Brady Jenness (10 Things We Should Do Before We Break Up) and Robin Bartlett (If Looks Could Kill, Shutter Island) co-star.
The MPAA slapped the flick with an R-rating for “violent content, disturbing images and some language.” Sounds good to us!
