10 Best Horror Movies of 2021 So Far (April Edition)
I plan to make an updated list each month. But we’ll see about that. This list is a combination of scores from Rotten Tomatoes (critic and audience), IMDb, and Google. So it’s hopefully objective. Anyhow, as best as I could calculate, these are the best of the best 2021 has to offer thus far. Maybe this will help you keep track of the horror movies you should be watching this year. We’ll just take it month by month.
Check out the list below.
10. FEAR OF RAIN
For teenager Rain Burroughs (Madison Iseman), a diagnosis with schizophrenia means that every day is a struggle as she tries to figure out which of the disturbing images, harrowing voices, and traumatic feelings she experiences are real and which are all in her mind. But when Rain insists against her parents’ (Katherine Heigl and Harry Connick, Jr.) advice that the shadows and cries from her neighbor’s attic are hiding a dark secret, she enlists help from Caleb (Israel Broussard), the charmingly awkward new boy at school — who himself may not be real.
09. WRONG TURN
Backwoods terror and never-jangling suspense meet when Jen (Charlotte Vega) and a group of friends set out to hike the Appalachian Trail. Despite warnings to stick to the trail, the hikers stray off course and cross into a land inhabited by The Foundation, a hidden community of mountain dwellers who use deadly means to protect their way of life. Suddenly under siege, Jen and her friends seem headed to the point of no return- unless Jen’s father (Matthew Modine) can reach them in time.
08. WILLY’S WONDERLAND
A quiet loner (Nicolas Cage) finds himself stranded in a remote town when his car breaks down. Unable to pay for the repairs, he agrees to spend the night cleaning an abandoned family fun center. 06. SHADOW IN THE CLOUD

Just as her quick wit is winning them over, strange happenings and holes in her backstory incite paranoia surrounding her true mission. But this crew has more to fear… lurking in the shadows, something sinister is tearing at the heart of the plane. Trapped between an oncoming air ambush and an evil lurking within, Maude must push beyond her limits to save the hapless crew and protect her mysterious cargo.
