Elon Musk Could Create Real JURASSIC PARK Right Now

Well, alright then. Elon Musk’s business partner Max Hodak, the co-founder of Neuralink says they have the funds and technology to build a real-life Jurassic Park.

Hodak tweeted: “We could probably build Jurassic Park if we wanted to. Wouldn’t be genetically authentic dinosaurs but [shrugging emoji]. maybe 15 years of breeding + engineering to get super exotic novel species.”

Check out his tweet below.

It looks like Hodak and Musk’s Neuralink create brain implants hoping to help those with Alzheimer’s, dementia, paralysis, etc. So it sounds to me that they are more inclined to re-create something like Deep Blue Sea rather than Jurassic Park.

Either way, Samuel L. Jackson is fucked.

What do you think? Just because Musk could follow in John Hammond’s footsteps, does that mean he should? Something tells me, um, Jeff Goldblum wouldn’t, um, approve. No. That’s – THAT’S Chaos. But riding a T-Rex to Mars would still be cool.

Director Steven Spielberg’s original blockbuster followed Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum to the titular theme park populated by dinosaurs. The park’s mastermind, Richard Attenborough assures everyone the facility’s safe. But they find out otherwise when ferocious predators break free and start hunting humans.

The first film sports a 91% on Rotten Tomatoes with this Critics Consensus: Jurassic Park is a spectacle of special effects and life-like animatronics, with some of Spielberg’s best sequences of sustained awe and sheer terror since Jaws.

What do you think? Even after all the movies, would you still go and visit Elon Musk’s real Jurassic Park?

Episode 268: Mind Body Spirit Filmmkers Alex Henes and Matt Merenda and The Brave Little Toaster (1987)
This week we're joined by Alex Henes and Matt Merenda, the filmmakers behind the yoga-horror found footage film Mind Body Spirit, which is available on demand and streaming on Shudder and AMC+. We chat about Sarah J. Bartholomew's fantastic performance, the script and more before diving into their childhoods and their very different reactions to horror as a kid. Then we chat about The Brave Little Toaster and how it destroyed all four of our childhoods. Anthropomorphic appliances, self-cannibalism, religion...this movie has it all and we laugh our way through describing just how messed up it actually is.
