New Clip from MORTAL KOMBAT Features Sub-Zero in Action
Producer James Wan and director Simon McQuoid’s Mortal Kombat hits theaters and also HBO Max later this month. Originally slated for an April 16th release, the film is now coming out on April 23rd.

Producers have released a new clip from Mortal Kombat, one that highlight’s Sub-Zero in a fight with Scorpion! Give it a spin below the trailer and synopsis!
Synopsis:
MMA fighter Cole Young is used to getting beaten for money. But he’s unaware of his legacy. Or that Emperor Outworld Shang Tsung sent his best warrior, Sub- Zero, an otherworldly Cryomancer, to hunt Cole. He fears for the safety of his family. So he seeks a special forces major Jax who has the same strange mark he was born with.
Soon he finds himself in the temple of Lord Raiden, an Elder God and Protector of Earthrealm, who grants sanctuary to those who bear the mark. Here, Cole trains with seasoned warriors Liu Kang, Kung Lao, and devious mercenary Kano, as he prepares to take on Earth’s greatest champions against enemies of Outworld in a high-risk battle across the universe. But will Cole be under enough pressure to unlock his arcane – the immense power in his soul – in time to not only save his family, but also stop Outworld once and for all?

McQuoid directs Mortal Kombat from a screenplay penned by Greg Russo. Joe Taslim (Sub Zero) stars with Ludi Lin (Liu Kang), Jessica McNamee (Sonya Blade), and Mehcad Brooks (Jax). Josh Lawson (Kano) joins with Chin Han (Shang Tsung), Hiroyuki Sanada (Scorpion), Tadanobu Asano (Raiden), and Sisi Stringer (Mileena).
