Andy Muschetti’s THE FLASH With Michael Keaton’s BATMAN Now Filming!
Mama and IT: Chapter Two director Andy Muschietti’s upcoming much-anticipated DC flick The Flash has finally kicked off filming. And just like that, we’re excited about a superhero movie again. As fuck. Why? It sports Ezra Miller (The Stand, We Need to Talk About Kevin) as the titular speedster, but also sport multiverse elements too.

Like Michael Keaton’s Bruce Wayne from Tim Burton’s Batman. And Ben Affleck’s too!
Muschietti directs The Flash from a screenplay by Christina Hodson (Birds of Prey) based on the Flashpoint comics arc. Ron Livingston (Office Space) and Maribel Verdu will play Barry Allen’s parents. Kiersey Clemons is Iris West. Sasha Calle is Supergirl.
Muschietti confirmed filming kicked off yesterday, posting the official logo on Instagram. Check out the logo HERE. Andy Muschietti’s The Flash with Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton, and Ben Affleck is set to hit theaters on November 4, 2022.
The last time we saw Keaton as Batman was – fittingly – in director Tim Burton’s Batman Returns with Danny DeVito, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Christopher Walken.
The movie centers on the monstrous Penguin (DeVito) joining forces with wicked businessman Max Shreck (Walken) to kill the Batman (Keaton). But when Shreck’s timid assistant, Selina Kyle (Pfeiffer), finds out, and Shreck tries to kill her, she is transformed into the Catwoman. She teams up with the Penguin and Shreck to destroy Batman, but sparks fly when she confronts the caped crusader.
