NARR8, a new digital entertainment start-up, today announces the launch of the NARR8 application for iPad© and iPad© Mini. NARR8 is a completely free-to-download, free-to-use app that offers a great variety of original episodic multimedia series for digital devices. The app is available to download worldwide in English and Russian with plans to expand into other languages next year. Further, NARR8 will join the growing Android community and be available for Web in early 2013.
NARR8 is a digital content channel that delivers original, interactive content series including motion comics, interactive novels, and interactive nonfiction. The service’s initial content offering encompasses a huge assortment of content genres ranging from horror and science fiction to popular science, from world history to superheroes and video games, and much more. By utilizing HTML5 technology with a proprietary editing platform, NARR8 creates an innovative interactive experience that allows for smooth animations to bring high quality art to life with bold special effects and full audio soundtracks.

Founded October of 2011 by experienced digital content producer and artist Alexander Vashchenko, NARR8 currently includes eight development studios headquartered in Moscow, Russia, with satellite operations in San Francisco, California. NARR8 is rapidly growing as both a creative developer and author of a powerful, user-friendly, and completely free-to-use mobile platform with recent funding of $4 (U.S.) million from IMI.VC Venture Company, a Moscow-based investment firm led by successful Internet investor and visionary Igor Matsanyuk. Launching with a multitude of diverse series, NARR8 will regularly release new episodes and series through the application on a bi-weekly basis.
