David R. Ellis Begins to Sprawl Out for BlumhouseDavid R. Ellis is a director with several entertaining genre titles under his belt such as Final Destination 2 and Snakes on a Plane. We’re still trying to forget about Shark Night and The Final Destination so hopefully with this new flick he can get back on track.

Deadline reports that Ellis is set to direct Sprawl, a horror thriller that Jason Blum’s Blumhouse is setting up to begin production early next year. The film is expected to go through Blumhouse’s deal with Universal, but that is still formalizing itself. Jordan Goldberg and Alex Paraskevas wrote the script.

Unfortunately that’s all we know as of press time, but we’ll be keeping an eye on things for you!
