Jennifer Carpenter May Have Spoiled Her Big Return to DEXTER
Showtime’s upcoming revival of their hit serial killer series Dexter is now filming with Michael C. Hall and Clancy Brown. And today, original Dexter star Jennifer Carpenter may have confirmed the return of Debra Morgan in the upcoming series.

While nothing has been confirmed, Carpenter posted a pic to Instagram, showing her on the set of… something. Many assume it’s Dexter. Why? The timing lines up. Also, she’s dressed like Debra. But I guess we’ll hear more soon. One way or the other…

Personally, I’m SURE Carpenter will be back as Deb. After all, throughout the entire series, it’s established that Dexter is visited by dead loved ones. So I expect to see the return of James Remar, The Ice Trick Killer, AND Debra. For sure. And for starters.
Synopsis:
10 years after Dexter Morgan went missing in the eye of Hurricane Laura, the revival sees the character now living under an assumed name in a world away from Miami.
Julia Jones (The Mandalorian) leads the new cast with Alano Miller (Sylvie’s Love), Johnny Sequoyah (Believe), and Jack Alcott (The Good Lord Bird). Also Clancy Brown (Pet Sematary Two, Shawshank Redemption) plays the villain, Kurt Caldwell.
Marcos Siega will helm six of the revival’s ten episodes. He will also executive produce with Hall. John Goldwyn will too with Sara Colleton, Bill Carraro, and also Scott Reynolds. Clyde Phillips, the showrunner on the first four seasons, returns as well.
We don’t know exactly when Dexter is aiming to return to Showtime, but we’ll keep you posted as news emerges. Stay tuned and also check back often!
