Kong’s Battle Axe will cost you $900 bucks. The Kong Bust runs $3,500. Ouch. But still, they’re pretty fucking cool, right?
Godzilla vs Kong vs Mechagodzilla has received an A from CinemaScore! It also sports a 75% over on Rotten Tomatoes. The Critics Consensus reads: Delivering squarely on its title, Godzilla vs. Kong swats away character development and human drama to deliver all the spectacle you’d expect from giant monsters slugging it out.
Recently, during a Reddit AMA, Wingard, confirmed there was one definitive winner. He says: “Godzilla def won. He killed Kong. Kong was revived. I consider the Mecha battle was outside of that. As they say: Godzilla won the fight, Kong won the movie.”
Wingard says there will be no Godzilla vs Kong Director’s Cut: “No Snyder Cut for me. This is it. A lot of the fans online were all asking me is this going to be a three-hour film? When it was announced that it was a little under two hours they immediately thought — when is the director’s cut coming out? I like movies under two hours...”
The MPAA rated the movie PG-13 for “intense sequences of creature violence, destruction, and brief language”. It is in theaters and also on HBO Max RIGHT NOW!
