Horror History: Happy Birthday to George Clooney and His Big Ol’ Mullet
On this day in horror history, George Clooney was born in Lexington, Kentucky in 1961. Clooney is best known for his roles in classic horror movies such as Grizzly II: Revenge, Return to Horror High, and Return of the Killer Tomatoes. Not to mention Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino’s cult classic From Dusk till Dawn.

He also provided the voice of the titular Mr. Fox in writer-director Wes Anderson’s absolutely magical stop-motion animated movie, Fantastic Mr. Fox.
Some of his other movies include Batman & Robin, The Peacemaker, The Thin Red Line, Out of Sight, Three Kings, The Perfect Storm, O Brother Where Art Thou, Ocean’s Eleven, Spy Kids, Solaris, Intolerable Cruelty, Ocean’s Twelve, and Syriana.
Plus, The Good German, Michael Clayton, Ocean’s Thirteen, Burn After Reading, The Men Who Stare at Goats, Up in the Air, The Descendants, Gravity, and Tomorrowland.
Clooney has also directed a flick or two. Such as Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Good Night, and Good Luck, Leatherheads, and The Ides of March. Plus, The Monuments Men, Suburbicon, and The Midnight Sky.
Clooney was also a force of nature on the small screen back in the day. His most famous role, of course, was as Booker Brooks in Roseanne starring Roseanne.
