Oregon Hiker Shares Footage of Scary New BIGFOOT Sighting

I’ve been on a Bigfoot kick recently. It didn’t happen on purpose. I watched Hulu and The Duplass Brothers’ new limited series Sasquatch (which I wholly recommend) and then went straight into writer-director Bobcat Goldthwait’s freaky-ass found footage flick, Willow Creek. Anyhow. Bigfoot kick.

And it looks like a hiker may have caught footage of the beast…

Mike Bodewitz shared some footage on his TikTok of Bigfoot stalking him in the woods. It is hard to see (obviously) but a fun series of videos all the same. And by fun, I mean scary af. I don’t know about you, but if I caught Bigfoot watching me from the bushes I wouldn’t be enchanted. I’d play dead.

If you dig found footage – and Sasquatch – check out Willow Creek. It stars Alexie Gilmore and Bryce Johnson as a couple who go into the woods looking for material for their documentary on Bigfoot lore. The film sports an 80% approval rating over on Rotten Tomatoes. The Critics Consensus: Writer-director Bobcat Goldthwait’s first foray into horror doesn’t break any new ground, but it does wring fresh terror from a well-worn genre formula — and offers a few nasty laughs in the bargain.
