The “unofficial sequel” It’s Me, Billy is set almost 50 years after the events of the original Black Christmas (directed by Bob Clark and released in 1974) and follows Jess Bradford’s granddaughter, Sam. Check it out now on YouTube or below.
Synopsis:
Unaware of the danger that’s hunting her, Sam and her two best friends are spending Christmas Eve at her grandmother’s old country mansion. Stalked by a sinister evil that’s been lurking in the shadows for nearly 50 years, Sam is about to come face to face with her grandmother’s chilling Christmas past, the deranged psychopath known only as Billy.
Director’s Statement:
It’s Me, Billy is a Not-For-Profit Fan Film and a work of Fan Fiction. It’s Me, Billy is not associated with, nor endorsed by Blumhouse Productions, Divide/Conquer Films, or Universal Pictures. We are a group of working professionals in Canada’s film and entertainment industry paying tribute and homage to one of the greatest Canadian horror films ever made, Black Christmas.

McRae wrote, directed, and produced It’s Me, Billy with Gregory Bennett serving as Director of Photography. The film stars Victoria Mero, Shelby Handley, Malaika Hennie, and Caro Coltman.
