Recently writer-director Rob Zombie finally confirmed recent rumors that he was taking the helm of a new The Munsters movie for Peacock. And already we have some killer fan art by dugmcfug.

He writes: “So this has been in my head ever since I heard that Rob Zombie has the rights to reboot The Munsters.. Hopefully I’m wrong about what will happen here but just incase I’m not it’s here time stamped so I can say I told ya so.”

Pretty badass, right? I think so. But that said – and please send me hateful, dismissive messages on social media if you think I’m wrong – but I’m hoping Zombie doesn’t go the whole white trash way again.
Not with The Munsters.
I think it’s about time we saw Zombie spread his wings a bit and do a family-friendly movie. Trust me, it’s The Munsters. The man would lose ZERO credibility for letting the f-bombs and violent rapes go – for ONE movie.
