WOLF CREEK 3 is Starting Production Later This Year
Reported today by Variety, the third film in the Wolf Creek series is coming. The worldwide sales rights for the film have been bought by Altitude Film Sales. For the uninitiated, Wolf Creek is a series about a serial killer hunting people in the outback of Australia. It has spawned 3 movies, 2 TV series, and 2 novels. It’s big business honestly.
Synopsis:
An American family takes a dream trip to the Australian outback and soon draws the attention of notorious serial killer Mick Taylor. A hellish nightmare ensues as the couple’s two children escape only to be hunted by Australia’s most infamous killer.

Beloved Australian actor John Jarratt has played devious killer Mick Taylor in almost all iterations of Wolf Creek. This go-round will be no different. I haven’t seen a lot of the Wolf Creek series beyond the first entry. I may have to remedy that with a third film coming out. The producer for the film, Greg McLean definitely has some thoughts about the series.
