Supernatural Horror-Comedy GHOST MASTER Will Haunt VOD This Summer

Director Paul Young’s Ghost Master, which details the horrors perpetrated by a cursed screenplay (hmmm) is gearing up to roll out on VOD courtesy of Indican Pictures on July 13th. The feature took home the Best Picture award at Fantasia Film Festival and was also named Best Film at the Fantasporto Film Festival in Portugal.

The Asian horror-comedy stars Mizuki Itagaki, Takahiro Miura, Riko Narumi, Yuki Shibamoto, Tôru Tezuka. Ichirô Kusuno assumed screenwriting duties. We don’t have a trailer yet, but we do have some choice images! Check them out, along with the synopsis for Ghost Master, below.

Synopsis:
When a nervous assistant director working on the set of a low-budget rom-com ditches the scheduled project and pivoting to his own horror script, Ghost Master, Akira Kurosawa (Takahiro Miura, Attack on Titan Part 1) is shocked when his evil screenplay comes to life and begins possessing the film’s star, Yuya (Mizuki Itagaki, First Love Loss Time). As a bloodbath begins and Yuya embraces the spirit of the cursed script, Akira is forced to put a stop to his own creation to save the cast and crew from their gruesome deaths.
