Netflix’s and Goosebumps author R.L. Stine’s R-rated Fear Street trilogy kicks off on Friday, July 2nd.

Today, producers released the first 5 minutes of Fear Street Part 1: 1994, featuring Maya Hawke! Check it out now below the film’s trailer and synopsis!

Synopsis:
In 1994, a group of teenagers discover the terrifying events that have haunted their town for generations may all be connected — and they may be the next targets. Based on R.L. Stine’s best-selling horror series, Fear Street follows Shadyside’s sinister history through a nightmare 300 years in the making.

Leigh Janiak directs Fear Street Part 1: 1994 from a screenplay co-scribed by Phil Graziadei. The film stars Kiana Madeira as Deena, Olivia Scott Welch as Sam Fraser, Benjamin Flores Jr. as Josh, Julia Rehwalk as Kate, Fred Hechinger as Simon, Ashley Zukerman as Sheriff Nick Goode, Maya Hawke as Heather, Darrell Britt-Gibson as Martin, Jordana Spiro as Mrs. Lane, and Jordyn DiNatale as Ruby Lane.

Part 1: 1994 will start streaming July 2nd, Part 2: 1978 on July 9th, Part 3: 1666 on July 16th.
