New Documentary TEEN SCREAMS Will Explore the History of Teen Horror Cinema
Teen Screams is the first feature length documentary to dissect the history of teen horror cinema.

While exploring the key and varied cinematic signposts and modes of teen horror – touching on a vast array of film, television, and literature – the film will investigate cultural influences on the genre as well as uncover the themes and subtext that bubble beneath the surface.
The film will also navigate through the murky symbiotic relationship between horror cinema’s troubling “influence” on its teenage audience and the tragic crimes the genre has been accused of inspiring.
Teen Screams will deliver a bold, revealing, and wholly original take on cinema’s evil stepchild of a sub-genre.
The film is being produced and directed by Kieran Nolan Jones of Hellmouth Pictures.
