Scary New Trailer for Animated Sequel THE WITCHER: NIGHTMARE OF THE WOLF
The Witcher universe is expanding. In addition to the prequel series The Witcher: Blood Origins, Netflix recently announced there’s a new animated sequel coming our way. Look for The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf to arrive on August 23rd!

Today, producers released a brand new trailer for The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf! Give it a spin and read more about the movie below.
Synopsis:
Vesemir, a cocky young witcher, delights in slaying monsters for coin. When a dangerous new power rises on the Continent, Vesemir learns that some witchering jobs are about more than just money.
The Witcher showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich is producing The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. The legendary animation studio Studio Mir – best known for work on The Legend of Korra and Voltron: Legendary Defender – did the animation.
In other Witcher-related news, we recently reported that The Witcher Season 2 will arrive on Netflix beginning December 17th. Cast members include Yasen Atour as Coen, Agnes Bjorn as Vereena, Paul Bullion as Lambert, Basil Eidenbenz as Eskel, Aisha Fabienne Ross as Lydia, Kristofer Hivju as Nivellen, Mecia Simson as Francesca, Adjoa Andoh as Nenneke, Cassie Clare as Phillippa Eilhart, Liz Carr as Fenn, Graham McTavish as Dijkstra, Kevin Doyle as Ba’lian, Simon Callow as Codringher, and Chris Fulton as Rience.
